With over a decade of experience & continuous education in leading industry brands, Alyssa, owner & sole stylist at The Mindful Curl Co.,  has found her passion in creating mindful salon experiences in a zen, private suite setting. Alyssa's specialties include textured hair of all types & lived in, low maintenance, beachy looking hair color. Her training includes Paul Mitchell & Aveda Education, DevaCut Level 1 & Rezo Cut Level 1 Certifications, as well as many classes from other well known educators. She chooses to support the planet, the health of her clients & her own health by using eco friendly, sustainable, clean & highly effective products like Innersense Organic Beauty, Oway and Original Mineral. To enhance & elevate guests experience, Alyssa does not double book appointments unless requested. All pricing at The Mindful Curl Co. is genderless, ageless, and non-discriminatory.

Congratulations on your engagement & upcoming union!

I am honored that you would consider me & my work for such a big day. I know that good vibes, a calm & uplifting energy, & attention to detail are hugely important factors to look for when picking vendors for events. It is my intention to provide you with a timely, supported, aesthetic & seamless experience while having your crown styled for your event. In order to ensure you get the care & attention you deserve, I reserve my entire day just for your & your wedding. I schedule no other clients or appointments, so you know I am dedicated solely to your day!

the Process

Navigating wedding planning can be overwhelming. Here’s a guide to simplify working with me:

1. Fill out the bridal inquiry form online to provide preliminary details like date, location, and budget to make sure we are a great fit.
2. Once I confirm availability, I’ll send over my day-of investment menu complete with add-ons and everything you may need.
3. If everything aligns, we can review and sign the necessary contracts so I can block of your date in my calendar.
4. Let’s schedule a trial at my studio to discuss details and try out hairstyles.
5. I’ll work closely with you, your planner, and vendors to sort out all the details leading up to your big day.
6. Finally, it’s time for the fun part – your wedding!

  • STYLING FOR ALL OF YOUR CLOSEST TEAM: YOU, BRIDESMAIDS, MOTHERS, FLOWER GIRLS, IMPORTANT GUESTS OF ALL HAIRTYPES AND TEXTURES.
  • LEADING UP TO YOUR DATE, I OFFER BRIDAL TRIALS/PREVIEWS. IF MEMBERS OF FAMILY OR BRIDAL PARTY WOULD LIKE TO SCHEDULE A TRIAL, THAT IS A SEPARATE RESERVATION THAT I CAN HAPPILY ACCOMMODATE.
  • LUXURY HAIR COLOR PACKAGES, DAY OF CLIP-IN EXTENSION INSTALLATION, AND DETOXIFYING & RELAXING HAIR CEREMONIES TO PREP YOU FOR THE EVENT.
  • ABILITY TO ACCOMMATE BRIDAL PARTIES AS LARGE AS 6-7 INCLUDING THE BRIDE, AND HAVE A 5 PERSON MINIMUM REQUIREMENT TO SECURE BOOKING. PARTIES LARGER THAN 7 WILL REQUIRE THE HIRE OF ANOTHER STYLIST.  
  • ADD-ONS SUCH AS BLOWOUTS, HOURLY ON-SITE TOUCH UPS/ STYLE CHANGES, CLIP-IN OR HALO EXTENSION PLACEMENT ALONGSIDE STYLING.
